I'm baaaack!!! ;-)

Whoa, it's been a while. Took me forever to remember my password and login, but I made it! Anyway, here's a photo for a contest found here - http://jerrysmenagerie.blogspot.com/2006/08/random-knitting-theory-1-contest.html That's me knitting Continental style on Holz & Stein needles, working on the Dove Shawl from Heirloom Knitting I'm using Colinette Pariseinne kid mohair in the colorway "Marble". I'm halfway done and will post more pictures of it as I get further along. Feel free to click on the photos to see a larger view.

The most exciting news recently is my new (and first) grandchild, Leah Rose. Here she is at 7 weeks, what a beauty if I do say so! She's so much fun to knit for! She has a lovely DK weight cashmere blanket I made for her. So soft! I'm sure it will be a favorite of hers. I used Colourmart cashmere, a personal favorite.

Here's a pic of the blanket being blocked/dressed with dressing wires. The second photo is a close-up of the edging. This is a pattern called "Auntie's Afghan"
